On July 28, 2015, the world began to spin for our founder. Two specialists, a CT scan, an MRI and several torture-like tests later, he was diagnosed with Ménière’s Disease. Essentially, it is permanent vertigo of unknown origin. No known cause, means no known cure.

With the vertigo symptoms came chronic nausea. After leaning on a prescription anti-nausea medication for the first few weeks, our founder quickly realized this was not a sustainable, long-term treatment option. After extensive research (and using himself as a human guinea pig), he landed on a natural remedy for reducing his chronic nausea: ginger.
